Heroes Assemble to Defend the Nation of Wakanda

ALTERNATE UNIVERSE — Assembled safely in an undisclosed sector of the multiverse, the world’s heroes are addressing an immense new threat to Earth and the human race.

A new foe, the mysterious Phoenix Force, has declared war on humanity, as well as an alliance between super heroes from across dimensions is working tirelessly to save the world.

Phoenix Force, which has never been encountered before by the heroes, is a supernatural enemy still cloaked in mystery. They are composed of five powerful entities that are wreaking havoc on Earth.

Their leader, Namor, has made it clear that he will not allow the alliance of heroes to stand in his way.

While the collective powers of the heroes create a significant defense for the planet, deep divisions exist between them, and the progress of their alliance is tempered by an equally powerful diversity of opinion.

This dynamic is playing out as the African nation of Wakanda fends off an invasion by the Phoenix Force.

Wakanda, an advanced nation with a significant technical prowess, is led by Black Panther, who is present as a member of the alliance. Black Panther has taken an active role in coordinating the nation's defense and strategic matters with other heroes, including Captain America.

As Wakanda fends off this invasion, the heroes are divided into two camps, seeking to formulate a strategy to best insure the safety of civilians on the ground.

One plan is to create a diversion and lure the Phoenix Force to Earth using a trans-dimensional portal. However, disagreement exists as to what heroes or tactics will be utilized in order to create the lure .

The most popular option is using Scarlet Witch to bring them to Earth long enough to divert Phoenix Force's attention and evacuate Wakanda's civilians. Multiple heroes spoke about how Scarlet Witch would be an effective means of attracting Phoenix Force's attention.

Still, this proposal divides the body, as Scarlet Witch’s past behavior gives some heroes reservations about deploying her in the conflict. Past incidents include harming civilians, destroying property and committing other crimes.

Magneto, a vocal defender of the rights of mutants, affirmed his support for the deployment of Scarlet Witch.

“The actions committed by Scarlet Witch in the past have been in the interest of the people of Earth or her own self-defense," said Magneto.

However, Magneto’s support is not shared by Black Widow, who goes by the alias. She argued Scarlet Witch’s past erratic behavior and lack of interest in the current crisis makes recruiting her an unwise choice.

However the body proceeds, it is clear that Wakanda will not be the last nation to be threatened by the Phoenix force. Continued collaboration is necessary for them to defend the planet and halt the invasion.
