The Effects of Death in Saudi Arabia

Several of the ministers are scrambling to write press releases to inform the international community of the mysterious disappearance of the Economics and Finance Ministers.

The sudden disappearance of the Minister of Economics and Minister of Finance just so happened to be after they were found guilty of allocating funds towards nuclear weapons, possibly to use against the United States. The Council of Saudi Arabia Ministers has now entered into tense debate on how to handle their deaths, seeing as this allocation of funds has angered the United States.

A divide between the Ministers has become prevalent related to the release of information on the misplacement (and presumed deaths) of the two ministers. The Minister of Education and Minister of Rural Affairs have proposed a press release discussing the deaths of the two ministers, the reasons behind their deaths and their separation of ideals from the rest of the Council. On the other hand, the Ministers of Energy, Civil Services, and Foreign Affairs have proposed covering up the death of the two ministers by claiming it was a plane crash in which the bodies have not been recovered.

While it remains unknown what actually happened to these ministers, Saudi Arabia has released in the press that they were executed for their treasonous plan to bomb the United States. Since Saudi Arabia’s religious affiliation believes in the death penalty, more so than the Western ideals of the United States, the affirmation of killing their former ministers has upset the United States. The U.S. has a prominent role in helping Saudi Arabia, and losing the nation as an ally may be detrimental to Saudi Arabia. If the U.S. were to place economic sanctions on Saudi Arabia, then their economy would diminish rapidly.

The Council, considering both sides, chose to release the causes, purposes, and reasons behind the Ministers of Economics and Finance deaths themselves. Although several of the Ministers are unhappy about the decision, they understand that were the truth to come out after a cover-up, there would be far worse repercussions than coming clean now.

The Minister of Energy is discussing ideas and plans for sustainability with the Minister of Civil Energy.

As the Council moves forward, shaping Saudi Arabia into a more sustainable and self sufficient nation has become the new task at hand. The Minister of Energy has proposed several ideas to increase sustainability, including the reduction of oil drilling, the use of solar panel public buses, and the introduction of an electric car industry.

Other topics, related to self sufficiency, are improving the education system as well as the implementation of “Saving the Fish,” which includes environmental protection and fishing reserves. In order to achieve the 2030 Vision, which the Council of Ministers initially met for, the Council has tried covering most of the Vision’s goal. These include creating a more privatized economic sector and increasing the quality of life.

As Saudi Arabia tries to prepare for the possible repercussions from the deaths of their Economic and Finance Ministers, and knowing that the US has lost faith in Saudi Arabia as a trustworthy nation, the Council has decided to continue implementing national standards of improvement. One of the issues yet to be thoroughly addressed includes the possible implementation of nuclear weapons.
